Ok, so after reading Born to Run I am so in awe of ultramarathoners and trail runners. Here's a video of a guy who won the Leadville 100 miler in 2007. His form is perfect. I wish I ran like this:
He is definitely a dude. If you haven't already, check out his website. He actually has written some interesting things on barefoot and minimalist running.
I find it really helpful to watch runners with great form to see what they are doing.
In April of 2007 I lost a pregnancy at five months along. It was my third pregnancy and I had been working hard, tracking my weight, exercising, and eating pretty carefully but after that I gave up. A few months later I was pregnant again and had no energy, physically or emotionally, to stay on top of my health. So, needless to say, I gained a LOT of weight with that pregnancy. Three months after that pregnancy I was floored when I found out that somehow I was pregnant AGAIN! Yes, you read that right - AGAIN! So that is 2.5 years of pregnancy - crazy! I had my last baby in April of this year and had so much weight to lose! And this blog is going to tell the story of how I'm losing it! And this ain't no short story...
